Repashy Bug Burger

Planning to just make the whole jar, portion it up, then put it in the freezer so I don't have to make it so often. Anyone see any issues with this or do it themselves already? Any input and advice appreciated.

Nothing wrong with that. It'll last at least a couple of months in the freezer or a couple of weeks in the fridge. I make enough to use within a couple of weeks because I also gutload with vegetables and fruits.

Most people have figured out what I did: better to use just the dry powder, than mix it up. Use fresh organic veggies and fruit for hydration.

junglefries, can you expand on what you mean by "just use the dry powder and mix it up"

also how much should I be using if I am feeding about 100 small-medium sized cricket?

I also read somewhere that bug burger goes bad quick, so how l long before should I remove the uneaten paste from the crocket enclosure?

Thanks again everyone.

The wet made will dry out in about 18-24 hours. I just add the powder to the crickets food bowl. Usually a mix of wheat germ, bran flakes, bug burger, and Flukers Cricket Diet (dry food diet). Then I mix in the other stuff: flax seed, alfalfa, brewers yeast, spirulina, etc... I empty the food bowl every 3-4 days as it becomes stale. The crickets will eat more of the dried powder mix than the made up wet formula, IMO. I always have 3/4 of wet made thrown away. They just don't eat it if fresh veggies and fruits are available.
