So it being nice and 84 degrees out and also raining I decided to take Ren outside on the patio and have an all natural mist shower.

After her being out there for 5-10 mins I turned her little 40w basking lamp on and let her relax in her enclosure. My rep cal without d3 came in the mail today and I made her a nice dinner snack 2 calcium dusted super worms :).

Thats great. ;)

After predicting rain for 2 days here, I am finally getting some at the house!!!:D

What sort of supplement schedule will you be using?

Use Rep-Cal without d3 daily. Rep-cal with d3 once every 2 weeks and same goes for herptivite. I've been feeding gutloaded crickets and super worms lately.

Only use the w/ D3 every 6 weeks.

They need very little of it, especially if they get outside time.

The supplement bit:

First is with the use of typical products of rather high levels of d3 and vitamins,
( I do not recommend this approach )

Plain calcium without D3 at most feedings ( rep-cal )
Calcium with D3 once a month ( rep-cal )
Multivitamin once a month ( rep-cal )

Second is a schedule I have used and had positive results with.

Plain calcium without D3 most feedings
Multivitamin with D3 twice a month ( reptvite )

Third is my new current schedule and has been working with positive results.

Plain calcium at most feedings
All in one multivitamin with D3 four times a month ( repashy calcium plus )

To the keeper:
As with supplementing with any cham, less is more, and with montanes this is more true than ever. I tend to only feed my adults 4 days a week and with only a very light dusting.
