Remaking custom cages

So, after thinking about the topic on https://www.chameleonforums.com/opinions-plz-cage-85302/ I decided to redo my cages.

Project:
The idea is to convert my 2 2x3x4 cages to 1 2x4x4 (divided) and 1 2x3x3 (divided) cages.

Reason: We are moving in with my mom for approx. 2-3 months to give my husband plenty of time to get a new job after he gets out of the military. We wont be able to take our 2x3x4 cages as is. So I need them just a little bit smaller so the movers can move the 2x4x4 divided cage and we will take the 2x3x3 divided cage with us.
In a way I think that they will work out (hoping). Later on when we do breed Angel and Ringo we can us the 2x3x3 cage as baby cage. I do want to increase my cham population and who knows I may give the males the bigger divided cage and the females the smaller divided cage.

I plan on starting this project this weekend and will post pics when they are finished. I'm using the same wood I used on the frams so should take too long.

Also does anyone have any suggestions on where to put my boy Ringo when I do this to the cages? My girl Angel will just sit in her tree and mind her own business but I know Ringo will wonder!

Could he safely free range in another room for a while? maybe take the tree form him cage to make him comfy?

Sounds like you are doing a good job of making life with chams work. Good for you.:)

Well I put 1 cage together today to make it into a 2x4x4 divided cage. Also got a couple pics of Angel and Ringo. Angel is on my hand and since Ringo doesnt like being handle he's on his plant. Cage isnt completely done but its there.
