Rehabilitated Veiled Chameleon- Phoenix

I think I posted a thread somewhere in the health clinic about three or four months ago on a rescue veiled I got from Santa Barbara, from a lady who knew nothing about chams. The student the lady got Phoenix from ended up not dusting the crickets she fed her at all, fed her about four prey items per day, and misted her about four squirts twice a day. Well after about three weeks of this, the growing baby ended up having a severe vitamin A deficiency and D3 deficiency making her need a two shots from my vet in a three month time period. Her growth is severely stunted, she is supposedly around 11 months, she is the size of a 4 month old. But she is now able to open her eyes completely, see everything, shoot her tongue out, eat AND drink on her own.

She is shedding and growing slowly but she still is getting there. She eats about 15 prey items a day. She is a healthy girl for how small she is, I am so proud of her ^^ sadly though since I had to force feed her for about 3 months and give her meds through a syringe she's not very found of humans right now. .___. I am trying to get her to warm up to humanity, but I don't blame the dislike, with what she's been through >.<. I hope to send her off to a forever home soon after she shows some stability in her growth pattern, though I swear I will grill the new candidates till I am satisfied, in no way am I going to put her through a horrible experience again *nods*
