I just got a baby veiled chameleon, Is it ok if I use a regular 50 watt Bulb for heating or do i have to get a special 50 watt bulb??

a regular bulb is perfect, just make sure you have a UVB source along with your heating bulb.
 
HOw big / old is the baby? If very small, no basking bulb is needed, or 10 -20 watt one may be sufficient. Dont want to overheat / dehydrate a baby

its like the size of my thumb, actually it had been 3 days without any heat, but I just found a 50 watt bulb and installed it, he seems to like it, so should I remove it? or maybe just turn it on for less time?
 
50 watt may be too much then. The basking spot for a baby veiled should be around 82 and the rest of the cage around 75.
