i don't think you quiet understand how the weather in arizona works, when the average humidty level is about 10% and on average a house doesn't get over 30%, things can get very dry very quickly. if a constant humidty of at least 60% needs to be maintained do i need to get a humidifier?
as for being 2 young a 2 month old jackson was very small, granted i have been told they are extremly hard to keep when they are little. my house doesn't get over 78F, but i admit my failure and it was probably entirely my fault.
if i absolutly need the basking lamp i will use it ill just have to suspend it further away from the enclosure., but i still don't plan on attempting another chameleon till october. after i have perfected temps and everything else.
my room on average is about 76F.
yes you have told me about the temps, and i understand montanes need cooler temperatures.
i just misted for oh , 3 mins and within 10 mins the humidty dropped from 80 to sub 60%
