Recommended Vitamins…?

Hey, chammunity!

I was online shopping for some dietary supplements. For reference, I have a juvenile veiled (male), who unfortunately has MBD. This is the product that I caught interest in— what do we think? Should I pick another product? Any feedback or recommendations are welcomed!

(This would be the vitamin powder that I would be giving him ONCE weekly, alongside daily calcium-only powder. Would it be overkill to give him this many vitamins?)

I'm unfamiliar with this brand.
You will want Repashy Calcium Plus LoD (Most recommended) or Reptivite (most readily available in stores), and you will give it twice a month. So, once, bi-weekly. These two brands are, as far as I know, the only ones who have the proper vitamin A supplement our chameleons can actually absorb and utilize.
There are a lot of options out here, but these are proven!

Thank you! Just curious— If I were to use the Reptivite, should I still dust plain calcium powder on his daily meals as well?

"At one feeding every other week, or twice a month if you prefer, lightly dust with either Repashy Calcium Plus LoD OR ReptiVite with D3."
I'll also note, that on these two days out of the month, you will only use the suggested Repashy OR reptivite. You will not need to use Calcium without D3 for those two days of the month. Only these two days, however.
For me, I use the multivitamin every other saturday.
I am having a hard time phrasing it.

I have a hard time getting the vitamins coating onto to the bugs. I found just lightly sprinkling the cup with powdered vitamins with roaches, made it easier. Of the times he missed his aims, his tongue get the powdered. So it makes me satisfied. LOL

Note if the cham has MBD you need to make sure you have the correct UVB lighting and the correct distance to basking. Without this the MBD will continue to get worse. With extreme MBD this means you also have to get it into a vet. They typically will give you a liquid calcium without D3 that works faster and more efficiently at stopping the progression of the MBD.

I use Repti-Calcium without d3 every feeding. As well as Reptivite once a month or every 2 weeks ( like others have stated ). The only difference between Repashy and Repti-Calcium is 2 things:

1. Repti-Calcium you can typically get at a store like Petco or Petsmart. Repashy is usually harder to find and you may need to order it online. The only reptile stores near me that sell repashy is around 1 hour away.

2. Repti-Calcium sometimes clumps together and repashy does not. ( based on my knowledge/ experience with repashy). Sometimes when I put calcium at the bottom of my feeder cup, I’ll accidentally get a clump in there and then it’ll either be too much or spread everywhere.

I usually use a McDonald’s cup for my feeders. I normally add a little bit of the calcium without d3 to the bottom ( make sure not to add too much ). Then I sometimes shake it to get it around the cup. Then I drop in my feeders ( hornworms, silkworms, crickets, etc.) and I let them walk around in the cup. You can shake it around, it just may get too much in them.

Also feel free to correct me if I said anything wrong. I’m not a complete expert like some other people who are more experienced than me. I’m learning, tho.:)
