re- potting plants

when i repot my plant do i need a bigger plant pot for it my mum ws going on bout something ccaled pot bound or something?

I think she meant "root bound" and yes it can give you problems if the pot is to small!! Make sure you have at least 4" of soil below the roots so they have
room to grow.

And before replant the plant into a bigger pot....try to loosen the roots and it will help the plants to grow better on new pot (loosen the roots help the roots to move around the new space available in the bigger pot.. Make sure the new potting soil is moist not dry as it will hurt the roots.
