Rats!
I just ruined a nice batch of false stable flies I put them in the fridge for a few minutes to knock them out. Then I went to dust them, and there must have been a tiny amount of moisture in the container because when I dusted they turned into a soupy mess. Now none of the flies can fly and are just mucking around on the ground like they're competing in Tough Mudder. CRAP! I think they are done for, at least the flying bit. What a waste.
I wonder if there was an imperceptible amount of moisture/condensation from placing them in the fridge? Oh well. Lesson learned.
