Rare Question!

Hello, I am back with a new question!
My cham is sheding at the moment and I have been watching his behaviour which he hasn't eaten nothing and then he has been hiding under a leaf! My real question is do chameleons eat their own shed skin and is this normal? I have seen my cham eat a huge part of skin but I couldn't take it out ofhis mouth fast enough :-(

Will my cham get sick ??? Is this normal???

I am new to chams, but not new to reptiles. Most lizards eat their sheds, its normal and fine for them.

This is completely normal.

If you can get him to eat, the movement can help break the shed free.

Keep humidity up, and if you get him wet, let him dry out.

This will help free the shed
