So...Rango put on his best colors as we headed off to breed him with a beautiful Ambilobe female this morning.
As the two were introduced, she just sat there on her vine as Rango climbed from one corner to the next of the enclosure. The both constantly eyed each other from different angles, but he never made a move...No aggression was shown by either.
After 2-1/2 hours of anticipation and watching from a distance, I called it a day and headed back home.
The breeder will remove him this afternoon and put him in a separate enclosure for the night and then, re-introduce them tomorrow morning.
I guess love was NOT in the air today!
