I keep mine in the shed outside in north fl, they actually do far better out there this time of year than with artificial heating inside during the winter. One thing to watch out for is mold, if you use bedding make sure it's very dry first and then mix roach chow in, if you use a new bag of moist coco and mix the chow with that it will mold. You can also use no bedding and not worry about mold at all but I get better production with a chow bedding blend.
