I plant on getting more panthers within the next coming months but want a nice rack system. I plan to have drainage, mist king, and heavily planted cages. My question is Do the adult breeding chams REALLY need the 2x2x4 cages or are these 36x18x18 a good enough size for breeders? I can put Bigger ones in my room but honestly don't want to if the chams aren't actually gonna use all the space. I like to take my chams out on let them crawl on my window a lot So they will get exercise. I want to make a rack like this with the cages next to each other.

And this is the cage I'm talking about using on the rack.

I have a rack of 4 cages side by side. They are 18x18x36. For my female I think it's adequate. My male looks a bit cramped, but he gets a lot of out of cage time. If he didn't I think he would definitely need larger.

yep

Again gerbilinmyshorts (ferretinmyshoes) nailed it. My females are pretty much always in the same couple of spots. The males really do use up the 48". The females seem just fine in the 36".

Ok thanks, think I'll have the 18x18x36 for females on the bottom rack and males in 18x18x48 for males on the top shelf
