Okay fellas...... I know this is a touchy subject and I am NOT trying to incite a war between the two competitors but would like opinions as to which pump is quieter. I like what I see from both systems and just wanted some feedback before making my purchase. Thanks.

i have the herpmist it is extremly quiet, doesn't make much noise at all, except for the initial kick on and that is ignorable almost to the point that its not even audible.

now the herpmist and kingmist are practically the same pump, just i think made by different manufacturers.

They're actually the same pump, or at least the same manufacturer. I believe that herpmist is using a production pump, mistkings are custom, BUT that could just be the label, etc. For all intents and purposes they seem to be the same pump.

My nozzles are noiser than my pump with my mistking, and the videos of herpmist seem to confirm the same thing.

Pretty much what I was going to say.

don't forget promist either. Pretty sure they're all extremely similar and from the same OEM manufacturer.

So are you saying that the nozzles make one system louder than the other? Actually, I like the look of MistKing's nozzles. I think they would work well with my enclosure. At the end of the day I will choose whichever works best for the cham.

Thanks for the suggestions.

No, I'm saying that the nozzles of either system are noisier than the pumps of either system. And the nozzles are relatively quiet :) so its all good. I mean if you're right next to it, you know it just turned on, but if you're across the room or anything its harder to tell.

like i said, you'll notice the initial kick on, and the nozzle starting up after its goin its almost silent.
