So for drinking water can I just use Glacier water that you can fill up outside the grocery store? I can't afford an RODI system right now

This should be fine. I am not really sure how the water is filtered... but these machines take tap water and process it in some fashion. It might be through RO or it might just be a serious of sediment and carbon filters.

As far as I know that water is RO filtered, so yes.

You might check around to see if there's a "water store" near you. You can buy 8 gallon water containers for not very much and that will let you buy the RO water in bulk which saves lots of money. I'm in Tierrasanta and we buy our drinking water (which is RO) at The Water Stop on Tierrasanta Blvd. (near the Baskin Robins).

I live in Encinitas and I don't think theres any water stores around here? The glacier water is only 25cents a gallon so thats why i was wondering. It does have an RO unit and other filters

Then go for it. That's what you want.

You might still check around for a storefront. The one near us lets us pre-pay for water by the gallon at a reduced rate. That's just an idea to get water cheaper.
