hey my freinds cham layed eggs today and i went over to help him out we were putting the eggs into our home made incubator and one of the eggs rolled over, but we placed it in the exact same position it was origionaly in , is this egg dead and does anyone know how to test of the eggs are fertile ? thanks

If you post a photo we should be able to tell if they are fertile. You can candle them and if there are veins starting to grow inside or the egg glows pink they are likely fertile. Fertile eggs should be slightly bigger and whiter than infertile ones.

Keep incubating the one that rolled over until you know for sure its bad (or good).

rolling the egg won't usually kill it. I've rolled lots of eggs accidentally over the years without problems even when I didn't know which side was originally up. This is especially true shortly after they are laid- it isn't like the momma carefully places them to make sure one side or the other is up. Just reset it.
