Quick question!

Are Panther chameleons active?

I'm comparing them to a bearded dragon (I own two)..My beardies usually just bask and sometimes run around for a few minutes during the day.

Do Panthers constantly explore, or are they more chilled?

I would say chameleons in general are more active.

They can be active at parts of the day. However, they do spend hours baskings, under the uvb or in the shady parts of the enclosure. They do roam around often though. Especially if you have a free range (in my experience)

if you let them out of their cage they will try to explore everything. and all of my chams do explore their cages when not basking. its also fun to see them hunt!

Yeah I would say it really jsut depends on the time of the day! Mine likes to bask in the am and then closer to mid afternoon he starts movin around.
