I don't think he's having trouble it's just he won't start shedding his full body and its been a while since he started looking grey and dusty.
I mist him 5 times a day. Each misting is about 2-3 minutesHow often do you mist him?
Thanks! I knew as adults they shed in parts and it took them a long time but I didn't know it could take up to 3 weeks! I guess I need to be more patientAs adults, chams don't shed their whole body in a matter of hours like they do as baies. A full body shed can take a few weeks as they shed one part at a time. Amy has just shed her head, legs, belly and tail over the last 2 - 3 weeks. As babies they shed every month and will shed the whole body in hours, but I have found that adults shed every 3 months and then shed one part at a time, so it seems quite often that part of them is always in shed!
You can help with shedding by raising the humidity slightly, but allow the viv to dry out between mistings.
Yea really uncomfortable! I wish they would make it easier in themselves and just shed their full body all in one say /:
