quick ? about shedding

My Veiled Chameleon, Raine, is aprox. 2 months old. ( I have other posts on here). I just have a quick question. She is starting to shed and one of her eyes has some dead skin that has not come off yet. I see her rubbing her face and figured out it was because of the dead skin. What can I do to help in the shedding process. I have had better luck with keeping humidity up since I put a clear shower curtain around three sides and added a live plant. It is so tempting to HELP it come off but I know that is not the best thing to do. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for ALL of y'all's advice on all of my posts. I am so lucky and happy to have found this forum..

That's what I do during shedding, I'll up my mistings a bit and use a warm water. I'll test the water on my hand too, just to be sure it's not too warm.

Allow it to happen naturally -- it's never a good idea to peel it for them. It's just an itchy process and will be over soon! :)

Shedding

:D Arrived home from work this afternoon and poor Raine looks miserable. Her whole body is shedding. I took your advice and misted her with warm water. She's in her cage rubbing her face all over everything. lol Of course she decided to shed the day I got her worm order in. Discovered that the butter worms are to big for her but that's ok. I have a Crested Gecko that will love them I'm sure. I will wait until tomorrow to try giving her the Phoenix Worms. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she likes them.

Thanks again for your advice. I know I am a overly protective chameleon mom but I can't help myself. She is just so darn cute.

The shedding can also cause them to have very little appetite for a few days beforehand.
Glad that Raine is doing better!

 Is it normal for shedding to take 3-4 days? I have been doing the warm misting twice a day but she hates them and runs. lol At least it has come off of her eyes and back. Still some on tail, legs and head. I am starting to think that Raine enjoys making me worry.
