Hello everyone. I've been interested in chameleons since I was little.
I would like to try breeding panthers and veiled one day . I thought of building a large green house about 12'x8'x7' high. The material will be wood posts and a concert floor. The design will be like a small house.
Questions.
During winter it's gonna be cold and maybe cloudy.
How would I get a good range of UVB during these months and what do you do with heating it up?
For summer I guess I'd take off the roof and screen the top for natural UVB
With portions blocked for a cool side. And make a diy mist system for humidity.
I'll seal the wood so it does not rot. With a bunch of live plants and nest boxes when it's time. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
