Questions on a Grumpy Veiled

Yeah dude, it's just reiterating what I said. The basking light was too close.

Are you confusing the 'coil bulb' with the basking light? We're talking about the UVB coil bulbs.

NO I know what I am talking about "dude" I am not an idiot. My chams basking temps were fine. I still have my basking light in the same spot and the burn went away once I trashed the coil bulb (and the help of silvadine) and it has not returned.

Okay then .. if you wanna be an ass about it, then let's discuss, shall we?

UVB bulbs do NOT give off heat. Do some research. Your cham couldn't have been burned from it. Unless you were using a mercury vapor bulb which is both UVB and heat for basking. But since you've already pointed out that you already had a basking light separate from your UVB, I think it's pretty clear that your cham was burned from the basking light.

Stop denying it. It was in the thread you linked me to.

Do you even know the issue surrounding coil bulbs or do you just regurgitate information with out understanding it?
