Questions about my first clutch!?!

I have a few questions about my first clutch I have been researching and getting a lot of different answers. The female ambilobe panther will lay the eggs in a month or so and they are my first fertile clutch. What are the best incubation temp/substrate combination is good for a healthy but still fast incubation? Will I need to get an incubator or can they stand it in my warm room? Is it a good idea to seperate a clutch into 4 different containers with different substrate or will I lose more this way? What is the ratio on sex, is it 1/1 or what? Can you influence sex with certain conditions? I know this is a lot of questions but I just want to be safe and confirm all of that on here. Thanks in advance for all the knowledge

The female should lay her eggs 23 -35 days after mating.

I recommend you start the clutch at around 68 - 72F for 8 weeks , then raise temp to 72-76F, with at least a 3F raise in temp to break diapause.

Chunky vermiculite is better than the very fine kind. Moisten with 1:1 ratio of vermiculite to water by weight.

Sex should be 1:1 ... I'm not aware of any influencing factor that affects gender.

If I do the temps like this with chunky verm. how long does it take? Will I be ok with having them in my room its around 75-80 in the day and around 70 at night or will this be too much fluxuation?

some people do diapuase, i am in the firm belief that if somethings working DONT MESS WITH IT! lol i have my eggs in the closet, stay relatively about 75. your previous post seems right on. No way to determine sex ratio it is random. I have heard of 18 male and 5 female from one clutch so i dont think there is any way to manipulate circumstances for you to get a certain sex. How do you keep your closet at 75 doesnt it cool down a lot at night?

How do you keep your closet at 75 doesnt it cool down a lot at night?

My house stays at a fairly constant 73 to 75 degrees. AC runs all day and night and it is always hot here outside so it is does not really influence the inside temp too much.

mainly have to worry about the day cuz is gets hotter, to regulate heat get bags of water and place them next to the egg containers. It is chemistry, water absorbs heat faster than other things, so the water will take the ambient heat. You have to test if before you have the eggs for a couple days to get it right. and at night the temp cools but normally is at 73-75 because the house is insulated. I know temps vary per house so take that into mind, but mine is perfect for some reason i dont need to do anything. Oh btw it also has to do with the closet. I use my downstair closet because we all know heat rises and the upstairs closets would get too hot. plus the closet i use is deep, it has a rack for jackets and then goes even deeper and then has shelves, its like a little cave and stays nice and cool.

In the spots I can leave the eggs it is either 68-72 in my closet(HVAC in there so it changes all day...) and 75-82 in my room. Will this be close enough or should I buy an incubator? I'm all paranoid about my eggs man.
