Questions about Carpet Cham Cages

I was thinking about getting some carpets if I have room for another cage as I have always loved them! How big of a cage do you need for a pair of carpets? Can they be kept together or do you need to house the male and female seperate? Last do they have to be kept in screen cage like chameleons or can they be kept in something like the exo terra terrariums?

Ask Dooley1. He is a carpet expert.

I always house chameleons individually and in aluminum screened cages.

I have always housed my carpets separately and they can live in smaller screen cages. I'm not sure if anyone has housed there's differently, but mine did well that way. I would keep them downstairs where it was a little cooler and more humid.

Carpets are extremely aggresive towards each other. Houseing them seperatly is deff a requirment. I love our Carpets they are great little animals.

You can see our Carpets set ups in our signature, though that will be changing soon as we are making all new cages in a couple weeks. I think we are going with 18"x18"x28" for the carpet set ups.

And Dooley1 is the man when it comes to carpets he has helped us out a ton.
