Questions about Bugs

I have two young Veileds, one about four months old and the other a month or two older.

Where is a good mail-order place to buy bugs from?

Is there a risk of cockroaches escaping and infesting my house? Why are the feeder roaches different?

Can you give me a guideline for the numbers to order?

Is there somewhere that lists the nutritional levels of the various types of commonly fed feeder bugs?

Heyyy roaches are much healthier than any other feeder really.they will not infest your house either,unless you live in Florida where they are illegal. You should first buy just like 100 and see if you cham likes them. If they do I would recommend starting a colony with about 100 adult breeders

dubia roaches are great! i started a colony about 8 months back with a few hundred assorted in size and it's probably going on 1000 strong now. I just feed them off to my 3 panthers whenever i need to. I still fill in with treats like hornworms, silkworms and crickets every so often. But i have saved a ton of money not having to buy so many crickets anymore. .

Try getting them local!! Much cheaper!! I got 100 breeders and 500 mix for just $50!. If you can't find any local try online websites! Look on abdragons. But they don't sell breeders.ill tag a website or 2 with breeders later let me just remember there names and for silkworms look on the sponsor here they usually Have good deals! Or try rainbowmealworms, I believe $10 for 30? Silkworms
