What's the best way to get my cham use to me? She knows I bring the food now but still hides and if I have to move her she gets stressed out. I know they're not so interactive, but I see everyone else handling theirs without them trying to jump off. Am I doing something wrong or do I need more patience?

Patience is a vertue... eventually your girl will get used to you. They are just territorial animals and you are technically encrouching on their area.

Some get used to handling and some don't. It definitely takes work and time. Never try to handle her if you can tell she is stressed by your presence.

Mine does not like me sticking my hand in his cage, but if I put a long stick under him and very gently lift up, sometimes he will grab on and I can take him out of the cage on the stick. From there, I let him crawl onto me if he wants to or I put him back in if he's stressed. Most of the time, he is fine once he is out of the cage. Good luck, and just remember not to stress her out. :)

dont force handle if they dont want to, and no excessive constant handling either. if you are blessed with an interactive cham then lucky, but as you stated, chams are solitary animals and will get stressed, tempramental and what not in the process
