if i use a default alarm from my iphone to wakeup around 6am (while my cham is still asleep) will she wakeup to it, or will it scare her?

So far I’ve read that chameleons can hear within limited range of 200-600Hz. They can most likely hear more from women than men since the average male voice tops out at around 180 and 255 for females. They will also “hear” more thru vibrations in the air. So I would say it depends on the tone, volume, and proximity of your alarm. And of course if it vibrates or flashes.

It's probably too high a frequency for the cham to hear. That information should be available someplace.
Another option is to make it a non-issue by syncing your alarm with when the lights come on.

That could explain why I get vacant looks when I talk to him.
Guess I'll have to try using a falsetto.

I wake up every morning before my chameleons and i sleep in the same room with them. They never woke up because of the alarm.

I just sent a picture of myself wearing the 20 ft. long Doctor Who scarf to the saint who knitted it for me for Christmas. Nobody's seeing that either.
