Question: Size?

So I may have posted this thread twice they wouldn't let me write my full message, I'm not very sure how to work the site, my apologies. So this is a picture of my sweet man Brutus enjoying breakfast.. I have a question, He's about 6/7 months old but I've seen a lot of other chameleons his age that are a lot bigger? Do they grow a lot within the time period to a year? I'm really hoping he gets a lot bigger before a year and I'm hoping it's not his genes, although I'll love him whether he's big or small Thanks guys.

Each chameleon grows at his or her own rate and yes they do sometime have spurts of growth. Most will grow until around 18 months old and continue to fill out even after that. If he hasn't had a fecal lately I'd recommend one just to rule out parasites.

Jannb beat me to it. I would definitely get a fecal done. What are your temps in the enclosure? If the fecal rules out parasites, I wouldn't worry too much about it. There is a lot of variation in size when it comes to chameleons. It could be genetics or even the manner in which he was cared for prior to you purchasing him that could have affected his growth rate/potential. Either way he is a pretty boy! I do hope you get the fecal done though.
