I've just fed my veiled chameleon, over 10months old, about 15 3/8ish size crickets and then about 5 small-medium super worms.. while I was hand feeding her the super worms.. I noticed she went for EVERYTHING that moved! She was sticking her tongue at my head and even farther away, my boyfriends moving hands that were way too far away for her to possibly catch. Does this mean she is still hungry? Should I feed her more???
I've never seen her go for moving hands and anything else like she was doing. A quick moving hand would usually scare her away easily but it was also a lot lower than where she was. She was hanging out of the pothos plant I placed recently outside of her cage. She was pointing her tongue out at my face even!
Is it possible that being out of her cage broke her fear a little of me?
Or is this a sign of not enough eating?
