I had not filled this out yet and I saw someone else just did theirs so here it goes...

Chameleon Info:

Your Chameleon - Jackson's, male, about 9-10 months (best guess). I've had him for 3 weeks.
Handling - I take him out about twice a week and let him outside for a bit too.
Feeding - About 5 large crickets a day. Have tried different greens but doesn't seem to like them. And won't eat the mealworms out of the cup.
Supplements - I use ZooMed Calcium without D3 twice a week. And Fluker's Calcium with D3 and TetraFauna ReptoLife multivitamin twice a month.
Watering - I have a little dripper that drips about every ten seconds day and night, and I hand mist once to twice a day.
Fecal Description - White and brown mixed.
History - He has so far seemed healthy and active since in my care.

Cage Info:

Cage Type - 18" x 18" x 36" Screen Cage
Lighting - 13 Watt coil UVB bulb by Zilla - Tropical Series 25. 100 Watt heat bulb, dimmed slightly. Both in dome fixtures on top of screen. On from 7:00am - 9:00pm.
Temperature - Basking spot of 85-90 (depending on how hot it is outside), unsure of temps lower in cage. Lowest temp at night is 60. Measured with Petco velcro gauge.
Humidity - Vary from 50-70, occasionally up to 85-90 if the cooler is on.
Plants - I have two potted Golden Pothos at the bottom of the cage, the rest are fake.
Placement - In my room at the back of the house. Part of the cage is in front of a window with blinds closed. Not highly trafficked other than me coming and going. Sometimes I have the ceiling fan on unless it starts getting to cool for the cham environment. Top of cage is 5 feet off of the ground.
Location - Bakersfield, CA

Here are my ideas, 90 is way to hot for a jacksons, bring your temp down, he needs horizontal branches, more live plants like a nice ficus or umbrella tree would be nice, and last jackson's are not that big, when you say large crickets, how large are they? He is a cute little bugger.:) Living in Bakersfield you will need to watch his temps, over heating could be a problem fast. I would mist at least twice if not 3 times a day.

Thanks for the advice :)
And by large crickets, I mean pet store large. I have not been able to buy in bulk yet and the pet store has either large or small crickets and the smalls are pretty little.

You dont need to run the dripper at night. He is not going to drink while he is sleeping. The cage needs to dry out at some point. If you keep it too damp in there he might be a likely candidate for a Respiratory infection. I would remove that moss, not only could he eat it, it is going to get all wet and soggy and start growing mold and bacteria. Nothing in the cage bottom is your best bet. It might not look as cool but it is better all the way around for your chameleon.

Thanks. I will be turning the dripper off at night now. Will using a kind of turf on the bottom be okay?

you can but bare is best! It is just something else that gets wet and retains water. If you can find a way to keep it from staying constantly wet then I would say ok. If you leave it bare you just can dry up with a towel.
