question onAdvantages ofbeing a breeder

i never breed chams but hope to evetually. Can a breeder see the babies and by looking at them pick a cham that will be a good breed or have awesome colors.

is it possible the buy a baby and still get a cham with as great quality of size and color, etc., as breeders' first pick.

Chameleons are a game of patience. As far as guaging what might be considered "pick of the litter" in chams you would almost never know that for months, possibly 6-12 or more, as to what will actually turn out to be a beautiful animal. In some you have to wait to even know if you have a male or female. So consider the cost of housing and feeding animals during the waiting period against the prospect of making money. Just MHO.
