I have a 6' dark mesh cage and a 6-7 month old panther. I went with the zoomed 5.0 linear bulb. Now the more I read I think I should have gone with the 10.0 bulb. My questions are is the 5.0 enough with the size and dark mesh of the cage. Also I decided to add on one corner of the cage an old (2yrs) mercury vapor bulb for added UVB. Does this bulb still put out some or enough combined with my the 5.0 bulb for my cham? Also the top branch that he hangs out on is 6 1/2 inches from the linear 5.0 bulb. Here's a picture so you have an idea.
