Question on DIY LH4 & FH4 Light hoods

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a DIY 2'x'2'x4' screen cage along with the LH4 light canopy and FH4 florescent hood. My question is the LH4 allows for 3 screw in bulbs - should I use all 3 sockets? I'm definitely using 2, one basking light and one ceramic heating unit for nighttime warmth. What should I put in the 3rd socket? Another basking light? Also, what wattage should I get for the basking light and ceramic unit?

I also got the FH4 which allows for 2 florescent bulbs. I've ordered the Arcadia 6% uvb bulb and I plan on using a 6500k plant light for the other socket.

I have the same fixture and put 2 heat bulbs and a reptisun on the far right, getting my arcadia/plant light combo next week! But since you have another fixture for the arcadia lights, maybe use 3 lower wattage heat bulbs so there is a larger heat gradient along the top of the cage, instead of just one specific spot. I put a 60w and 25w in the other 2 sockets and the temps from under the fixture goes from 88-80, so he has a lot of temps and spots to choose from, feels more natural to me.
