Question for the breeders

How do you pick what panthers your going to hold back
do you look for size or color or ?
what characteristics do you look for to get the best looking panther

not a breeder but have an opinion lets hear it

"Best Looking" is a matter of opinion for most people. I'm sure most breeders have their favorite traits they select for...red rain in particular areas, a saturated dark blue hue, big lateral line or none at all, bigger rostrals, more scia dentata or less, different eye turret patterns. how closely the offspring resemble the parents, or how much variation the offspring show. Pretty subjective question to answer. And, there are other traits to select for including overall size or tail length, longevity, tendency to lay small clutches, temperament, aggression (which means more reactivity and fire up).
