question about water...

I have a mistking..
it runs 3 times a day..
15 mins at 8 the morning
10 minutes in midday
and 10 minutes at 5 pm

And... I do have a dripper, but I dont like it....
I have used it and I never see my chameleon drink from it...
So.. I havent been using it since for a month...
his feces looks good and urates looks white

Is it ok If I just go with the mistings and dont use the dripper at all????

I keep both cause maybe he not thirsty when being mist but with a dripper he drinks all day

do you see you chameleon drink from the mistings? If so, then you don't need to run a dripper if you think he is never drinking from it. Are you home all day? If not, how do you know he is not drinking from the dripper? It seems like you are running the mister for very long periods of time. Do you have a good drainage system in your cage?

yes I do have a good drainage...
And... I doo see him dring directly from the mist...
and Ive tried the dripper on weekends and Ive been wathing him, and doesnt seems to work much

I wouldn't use it then. Honestly I am just the opposite and do not mist all that much for drinking purposes as both mine like to drink from the dripper. i still mist them so it cools them off outside and they clean their eyes, and if they are shedding, etc.

That's pretty much my schedule for my panthers, and I don't use a dripper either. It's fine to just use misting to provide water.
