It really depends on the individual cham and "how" fast they are growing. How much does he eat and what?

Whenever I read "he has yet to shed" and "he's grown quite a bit" about the same animal, I suspect "stealth shedding" followed by consumption. I don't think it's possible for them to grow without shedding. They grow out of their skin, it doesn't get bigger to accommodate growth. Babies can pull off a shed in an astonishingly short space of time. Unless you're watching 24/7, you can easily miss a shed. Some will then turn around and eat the shed (this is fine) leaving no evidence that it happened.

i currently have 5 veiled my oldest being a male and 10 months and my youngest being 3 months......there is such thing as the chame growing and not shedding , but sooner or later the cham will shed and shed, the cham is perfectly fine if not shedded yet.... just keep the tank semi humid and u will sooner or later see the shedding process take affect, mine grew and untill 3 months thats when she had her first shed:cool:

He eats about 10 crickets a day and every few days i give him 2 or 3 superworms. I also ordered a ton of dubia roaches for him which should arrive today! so ican change his diet up a bit, i heard that superworms can cause compaction? so im just feeding him the last of those untill the roaches come. thanks everyone, he may have eaten his shed i guess cause i dont watch him 24 7 lol

Superworms are easy to gutload, they will grubb on anything. Crickets have more chitin than supers so impaction is not a big worry. Use collard, mustard, turnip, dandelion greens, squash, zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots, some orange (it's got a lot of acid so go easy with it), apples, papayas, no broccoli or spinach.

At this young of an age it is very easy to miss a chameleon shed. My veiled has shed twice in the past month and both times he has shed all his skin in less than a day. If you don't monitor him 24/7 it will be very easy for you to miss a shed. I would not worry about it, there's a good chance he has shed and you have just missed it.

Yes, young healthy chams can shed pretty fast. if they are getting the right humidity sometimes the skin just pops off of them.

In general, if hey are growing, they are shedding often. If your cham's skin is looking kind of 'cloudy', he is most likely about the shed soon.
