Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled, male, 7 months, had him since he was around 2 months old
Handling - have been handling him everyday these past months because of medication administration
Feeding - Feeding him crickets 7 once a day every other day and meal worms, gut loading them with the fluckers gut loading formula.
Supplements - flukers powder Vit. C + D3 powder crickets every other day, Giving Fluckers liquid multivitamin 3 times a week.
Watering - Sometimes I put ice on the top of the cage where plants are, but humidifier is on and that wets the leaves, if not I mist them twice a day
Fecal Description - Feces is dark brown, urine portion is white with more yellow
History - He had a bacterial infection about a month ago, was given Baytril once a day for 5 days...
Cage Info:
Cage Type - all screen 30x16x16
Lighting - i use exo terra lighting, both UVB and heat lamp are on all day (12 hours) unless, temp gets to hot then I turn off the heat lamp
Temperature - usual basking is >80 if not equal too, at night it does not get lower than 60
Humidity - i have a fogger on most of the time, and a spray leaves at least twice a day, hvnt had a fogger the whole time though, had one in the beginning and past month had to hand spray due to fogger break down, level i try and keep >50
Plants - just recently put a live plant, about to add another one, small camelia tree for now, have a habiscus that I want to put in
Placement - Cage was in my living room since the beginning, switched today to my room,
Location - Southern California
Current Problem - well, my Rango was having eye problems these past couple of months, since then he sees perfect! My concern is that he is not defecating like before, since he got sick I rarely see any feces lying around, and if I do see some, I clean it to keep track. He has pooped one time these past two weeks, I have reaserched and have not gotten very far. Would like to know how often are they suppose to defecate since he is now eating every other day.
