Question about male veiled

My male veiled, Loki, is about 9 months old, breeder didn't have exact DOB. He seems healthy and is active, but his urates are not the same as my other chams. The others look like they're the same consistency as their poop, but his splats when it hits the floor or a leaf rather than keeping more solid. It's white like it should be but is just real runny. Sometimes when he goes the white part splats then there is a clear runny liquid that comes next almost like the water he drank came right out. I don't know what to think about this or what it means but if anyone has any insight I would really appreciate it! Also Loki seems to be getting a little restless in his cage sometimes. He'll walk laps around his vines and stuff. He's about 7-8 inches from his nose to vent and his tail is about the same length as his body. His in a 65 gal reptarium. I have a 24x24x48 aluminum screen cage coming for him. Do u think that the larger cage will make him less restless? It's about time for his adult cage anyways isn't it? One last thing I've been meaning to ask about is that it always seems like his casque looks dull like it's time to shed then when he does shed it is only bright for a few days til it looks like it's going to shed again. Is that normal? Thanks for any answers anyone can give!

What are you feeding him? Silkworms can cause a more "liquidy" poop, and if he drinks alot that could also. A fecal might be in order just to make sure there are no parasites. It is probably time for a big boy cage-a 24X24X48 screen cage would help him see out better. He is probably jut being a teenager-they get active at this age. As for his casque-from about 7-10 months mine went through the "white" dull ugly casque phase-it eventually colored up.

Thanks Julirs! I just ordered him a 24x24x48 cage from LLLReptile.com it was only $79! He eats crickets dusted with rep cal no d3 and w/ d3 and herptivite, all on different days obviously! Every once in awhile he gets a new treat like a silkie, but not for awhile now. He has a pothos that he has been eating, he'll have a bite or 2 every 3 days or so. sometimes he just likes to bite it at the base of the leaf and make it break off! HAHA! He does drink very well. He doesn't really like to drink off of leaves so I started using my squirt bottle to make a stream that drips through the ceiling and he runs over every time and sometimes will drink for a couple of minutes. We do that a few times a day, but I just assumed that if he was that enthusiastic about drinking that he needed it. Do u think he's getting too much? I will have a fecal exam done. Do u think I should take him to get checked out too or just do the fecal at the vet? Thanks for your post!

My cham is the same way with the drinking. The only time I've seen him roam to drink from the leaves was the first day I got him. Whenever I start misting he makes his way to his drinking spot in his ficus and drinks straight from the mister. He also drinks straight from his dripper but I've only seen him do that a couple of times. His urates are runny every now and then but I've always chalked that up to too many worms.
