Nope should still weigh 5g... i would try multiple nickels and see if its still off by the same amount as weight is added too

Uh oh! If my scale registers a gram more than it should, that means my 9 month olds weigh even less than I thought, 12 g instead of 13 g. I will try multiple nickels.

If 54 grams, it sounds like she's big enough. But would need measurments to compare to size of the male.
