hey everyone. been a litlle while since i been on here. got a quick question about some cages... i got a diy, and a zoo med. the zoo med is older and has quite a bit of rust on the screen.... now my diy which is only about 3-4 months old is getting it too... can i do anything about this lik maybe take them and spray them with rustoleum? i would just paint the whole cage to match im just tired of rust... any suggestions?
anyone else have this problem?

some of the used cages I see have rust around the locking areas. I guess when you mist open the door and mist directly inside. That would somewhat minimize the chances of getting rust. screws, bolts, hinges... try not to mist over them... hope that helps.. hows everything doing.. did you see the update pics of the jacksons...

You could buy some plastic coated screen and re-screen the cages. Try Home Depot or Lowes.

I would pro just rescreen it which isnt very hard but if you take some fine steel wool to the rust and then wash it good you good spray some rustoleum and it would work good just make sure to spray it really light and far away or it will clog the screen up
