Pyg's Hatching....first feeding?

Just wondering if those of you who have had pgymy brevs hatch before know when they need to eat their first meal? Mine are hatching now, and one is already out of his shell. I bought fruit flies too early, thinking the eggs would hatch about a month ago, and the flies are dead now. I just ordered pinhead crickets, but that will take a few days. Suggestions?

they're good for 3 or 4 days. I usually put flies in at 3 because I'm paranoid. I'd be more careful with crickets and remove them when feeding is done, so they don't nibble on the babies.

I use pin heads. Easy to propagate yourself and much cheaper! The tiny guys climb into whatever you have in their bin and I haven't had any trouble with the crickets chewing on them. How many eggs do you have?

Ok good to know...so, Lisa, since the first little guy just came out a few hours ago, he should be good without flies until tuesday? I hope I can get flies or pinheads by then
