Pygmy eye problem?

One of my babies isnt opening his eye. It look pointy rather than round.. Like the slit where he would see out of is the top point and is just deflates inward from there. They also seem to have little bugs on them? Not sure how they got these. Could they have been born with them since their parents are WC?

I tried a warm qtip and it didnt open it at all. Im not sure if there is anything in there honestly and I dont want to hurt him and hes only 2 weeks old and so small. He was the last to hatch so could it be a birth defect from the eggs being so friggen smaller thant he rest. I didnt notice it before today though.. He (well Now I thinkits a she..not sure) is still moving it like hes trying ot use it to look, but it wont open...

Well I ran it under warm water which is terrible difficult given the size. It tried to bite me..it was cuuuute! It opened it and was using it within seconds . I ran some errands and was gone for about an hour, came back and its closed again...Guess Ill just keep an eye on it. At least I know there is an eyeball in there.. Wonder if one of those silver bugs got in it. They are all over in the tank on the sticks, although they were baked before entering the setup..so Im not sure whats going. Will be cleaned tomorrow.

I dunno. He went to a new home on Sunday and I havent heard anything. Im assuming he must be okay as they havent contacted me. They in fact, want me to let them know when I have more so they can get him a mate since his brother died. I know there are eggs int here somewhere..


What is the gestation of a Pygmy? Anyone know? Seems like Mine have been pregnant forever, so Im wondering if they didnt lay and get knocked up again.. Just trying to figure it out so I dont have 15 thousand pygmys everywhere..well, more like 10 but still.
