Put some braches on my wall

I hung up some branches on my wall higher than everything else and evertime i put my chameleon on it he trys to jump down shouldnt he like the height?

Heres one i put up and let him go on i was going to put more but he didnt seem to like it or he was just scared that he was out of his cage its an aspen branch about 2feet long.

He may like the height, but think of what they would seem like in the wild...tall branch with absolutely no cover at all to blend with and nowhere to go...perfect place to be hawk food!! He feels vulnerable and exposed and he's a prey animal. Put some leaves and stuff up there so make him not feel naked to the world and I bet he'll like it more. And if the wood is smooth it may be slippery.
