Problem with herp mist water pump

Description of issue
The pump is leaking all over the place (A lot, none of the water is really reaching the lines) both at the input and output side of the pump. I have a T adapter on the output side connected to two lines. It’s been working fine for months without issue. I took at look at the pump since my chameleons cage was very dry and noticed the carpet was soaked all over the place. I ran the pump and noticed water coming spray out of the connections on the pump. The water flow could not reach the misting nozzles since so much water was leaking from the pump.

Troubleshooting
I removed all the lines and emptied the water reservoir, I also drained all the lines. I then reconnected each of the lines and ensured they were fully seated and locked in. I started the pump up again and it started leaking right away again. I then removed the T adapter and reinstalled it, this did not stop the leaking. I then removed the lines from the T Adapter and ran the pump again. I notice the flow coming out of the pump is very erratic mixed with a lot of air. When I first started the system I understood that some air would be bleed from the system but I let the pump run for over a minute. The water would squirt out of output side in small chucks not a solid flow like I would expect when the air was bleed from the system which it should have had enough time to do.

I then thought perhaps the lines have too much tension on them so I removed all the lines from the cage and placed them flat on the ground with no curves on the line and attempted to start the pump again after disconnecting and reconnecting everything but the pump still leaks at the inputs and outputs and the flow of water will not reach the nozzles. I then removed the T adapter and placed just a single line into the output side with the same results of leaking water everywhere.

Does anyone have any idea's of what I can try to correct the issue? I have already contacted herp mist but have not received a reply (emailed them over a week ago). If I can't fix this pump I would like to order a different pump that will work with the herp mist lines and nozzels I currently have, any thoughts on this?

Herpmist is out of business. If you can't fix the pump, I would suggest you contact Marty at MistKing, he can send you a Promist pump, which is quiet and reliable.:D

They went out of Business Really?! Their website is still up. Guess I'm going to just have to bite the bullet and get a new pump ugh.

get a MIST KING from MARTY! They are the best! and right now they have a special - free shipping on the Mistking Ultimate kit.

I just got mine too, I had to upgrade from my shitty Habbamist! Go for it!

Why would he send a Promist pump?

I think the diaphram in the pump head has failed. This is replaceable.

Jason used to sell his systems with Aquatec 8600 series pumps I am not mistaken..... So I emailed Aquatec to see where they sell replacement parts.

Edit.... if the water is coming out of the pump.................... the seal between themotor and the pump head might have failed. If the water is coming out of the sides of the pump, try to tighten the screws.....

I would buy a mistking system for about $100 before buying jsut a pump. At least with buying the system you get a pump and a couple of nozzles with it.
