Pre-lay Shed?

Do chams have pre-lay sheds like snakes do? Pixie shed on 16th May and started shedding again yesterday! I don't recall my female Veileds shedding before laying, but I didn't know about pre-lay shedding back then.

I've never noticed a pre-lay shed but I do notice how the nails on the front feet get much longer for digging.

A tiny bit off topic but I was wondering about shedding before being receptive. Sure enough right after my girl shed after being about a 1 1/2 old apanther ambilobe and over feeding her and showed me her to my male multiple times and giving her a lot of vitamins she shed and about a day later became receptive and stuck her right into the males cage and the deed was done. I think sheds definitely work like seasons of life. They are hitting a new stage when they shed. My boy shed right before he impregnated her and about a week after and that was only about a 1month gap. Thats really soon to me but it would tell me that it's like layers of stress and hormones being shed I think
