Hi i am planning to get a valed cham I am trying to plan for the worst.
I was wondering what happens if there is a power outage/Tornado?
Are there protocolos I need to know?

I’m not sure how you would plan for a tornado or power outage , since those are random surprise events. However, some keep a ‘bug out’ bag at the ready in case of needing to move your chameleon for evacuation. A mesh pop up hamper with zipper closure makes for a convenient emergency enclosure. Keep some vine or branches and a softer fake plant or two with it and a dome light with a clamp (most come with clamps) and basking bulb. For just a couple of days, it should be okay to go without uvb, or you could keep your uvb light easy and quick to grab and take. Having some bottled water (a couple of gallons) and a sprayer is another essential item. Chameleons can go a while without food, but not water. Many weather events can be seasonal, and you can make sure to maintain plenty of feeders during those times of year. Having a small colony of roaches is always very helpful year round. If you are prone to power outages and have very cold winters, disposable heat packs are a good item to keep handy (never put your reptile directly on one, but instead place it in an area where the heat can radiate safely).
A basic first aid kit is an essential for us humans and our animals at any time. While sterile saline or water and gauze is all great, bottled water and some clean towels can work just as well to clean any wounds. Clean gauze for bandages is a good addition. A tube of plain neosporin (no added pain reliever in it) or medical honey, water based lubricant, betadine or chlorahexidine, q tips, small scissors, and tweezers. Don’t laugh, but toss in a cheap pair of ladies pantyhose or knee high hose to secure dressings since you don’t want tape on reptile skin. Some nice optional additions include oral syringes, sugar packets, hot and cold packs, and non stick gauze (brand name telfa) or abd pads.
I’m probably forgetting something (brain is tired), but someone else can add.
