i know when purchasing a new plant for my chams cage, to rinse it off first then replant it in different soil. my only question is, what potting soil should i use, that will be safe for my cham.
organic is good, but any kind of potting soil without fertilizer in it. I just buy plain old potting soil and cover it up with big river rocks so the soil does not even show. That way your chameleon is not tempted to eat the dirt, as some will.
