Pothos plant cutting?

Hi guys I want a bit of help cutting my pothos. I just brought a big old basket and it dangles ALOT, so want to trim some put it in another pot and let it grow. I've done cuttings with umbrella plant before and it doing okish, a bit slow as it's winter and the environment isn't that great for it at the window.

I just bought a big one myself and divided it up into 5 plants, one for each of my cages. Once you remove all the dirt you will see a big ball of roots. Pull them apart, or cut them. The plant is almost indestructible. You can also take a dangle and put it in some water. In a few weeks you will see roots emerging. Make sure that when you cut it you cut it below a nub....that nub will develop into a root.

They are really easy to root. I suppose you could also stick it in some dirt and hope for the best. I bet it will just root as long as you keep the dirt moist. Rooting takes a long time to have a useable plant. I like to separate the roots.

Yeah I might seperate the roots/bunches. I was also wondering could I use eco-earth/coco-fibre as potting substance? Or a mix or that and some topsoil or something.

Lastly, what is a nub? One of those nobly bits?

Yes, a nub is a nobly bit on the side of the stem thing. You can pretty much plant it in whatever you have. All that you mentioned was good.

When doing the "water method" how long does it take for the cutting to start rooting in the water?

There r alot of factors to root quickly. U must try and not let the water get too cold. It won't stop it from rooting it will just take longer. As well it doesn't hurt to change the water daily or every other day. Other than that u could use rooting hormone but not essential, just let it be and they will root pretty easy. Good luck...
