If you are referring to the golden pothos ( I believe another name for them) yes they are safe for chameleon cages, And they grow like crazy!!!!! They are also very sturdy. Attached a photo to verify what you are talking about

You can really put whatever you would like the vines with wrap around the the branches. When mine first started i would use bread ties to anchor it to a branch if the vines where to little. But just wrap them in your cage around things.
