I would make a box of supplies: supplements, feeders, water spray bottle , heat lamp and uvb lights. He himself is ok in a cardboard box for a day in the complete dark with holes and a stick to grip on. He will sleep with the darkness. Bring a plant if you can and make a makeshift set up when you get to your destination.

I do mean a small box for travel transportation, I feel like I was confusing. As for the cage when you arrive at your destination, maybe use the bathroom shower area to build somehow or create a temp holding if possible and get natural uvb light when possible for him instead of his light.
