Possible to tell if CB or WC?

Hello Chameleon Team,


I have always wondered if there are certain tendencies or different personality traits displayed by a wild caught versus a captive bread.

Admittedly I purchased by my veiled from a local Pets Smart. I fully understand the value and almost requirement to purchase from a known breeder; but I figured for my first chameleon it would suffice.

At any rate, any opinions are welcome!!

It's a veiled so there's a 99% chance that it's CB as they are widely available for a low price.

In general cb reptiles are more relaxed than wc animals, but I doubt you'd notice that on a veiled. Wc will also often come with parasites which makes a vet visit necessary.
